Date Update
October 15, 2006 Arbind has been in Ben Taub hospital for about a week for treatment of his nose bleeding problem. He is doing fine now and may be out of the hospital in a day or two. The good news is his brother Ashish Bhattarai got here to Houston a few days ago. They are waiting for the kit from NIH which will be used to match his bone marrow with that of his brother. This process will be conducted in Ben Taub, hopefully sometime next week. If their bone marrow match, which we hope it will, they will leave for NIH in Bethesda Mary Land for his further treatment. Otherwise, they are planning to move to CMC in Vellore, India.
