Nepalese Association of Houston (NAH) was recognized as a non-profit organization by the State of Texas as of March 1, 2000, although its members had been actively serving the Houston Nepal Community since 1997. The purpose of Nepalese Association of Houston is to serve the Nepali community in the Greater Houston Area, bring all Nepali brothers and sisters on a common platform under a single umbrella, and create an environment of friendship, fellow feeling, mutual understanding, mutual cooperation and mutual respect to help each other in every possible way at the time of need. NAH also strives at preserving and fostering the rich Nepalese cultural, traditional, and historical heritage. NAH recently elected a new executive committee on April 13, 2002, full of energy and enthusiasm, to move forward to meet the demands and challenges of time and fulfill its objectives. Yes, we are pumped up to have the opportunity to serve you. NAH also firmly believes that participation and involvement by each and every member of the Nepali community in all of its activities will form the pillar of its success.
